Kree Harrison

American Idol Season 12 runner-up Kree Harrison says she has no regrets about her time on the show, even deciding to let eventual winner Candice Glover close out the finale.

"People are asking me why I chose to go first and honestly, it was in the moment," she tells TVGuide.com. "I just said, 'Where do you want to go, first or last?' And Candice said last, and I don't care because I get to perform at the finale, whether I'm performing first or second."

Though she finished in second place, Kree's post-Idol career is already booming. As judge Keith Urban predicted during one of his critiques, she'll be making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry on June 4, with none other than Urban himself.

"I cried a little bit," she recalled about hearing the news. "As a country singer, that's a lifelong goal."
