Vampire Diaries' Zach Roerig Involved in Custody Battle

Vampire Diaries star Zach Roerig is seeking sole custody of his 2-year-old daughter, because the girl's mother is currently serving time in federal prison, TMZ reports.

Roerig, 28, who plays Matt Donovan on the CW's supernatural drama, had previously not made it public knowledge that he was a father. But according to court documents obtained by TMZ, he had a daughter in 2011 with a woman named Alanna Turner.

In seeking full custody, Roerig claims Turner has been arrested at least three times and recently pled guilty to "various crimes" in federal court.
