Those are the words that The Vampire Diaries' Elena Gilbert must now live by.
In the first preview for the upcoming season, Elena (Nina Dobrev) wakes up from her fatal car accident to learn that she's in transition to become a vampire. With 24 hours to decide, Elena must either feed on blood to turn or die — unless Bonnie (Kat Graham) can find a spell to help her out of it.
