Season 2 of Vampire Diaries introduced the fact that the Lockwoods suffer a werewolf curse. Jeremy, who once wanted to be a vampire, but wasn't able to turn, forges a unique friendship with his one-time enemy, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino). In the video below, executive producer Julie Plec talks about Jeremy's continuing struggle to figure out where he fits in. "In our world, sometimes a vampire isn't always the bad guy."
