The Vampire Diaries Bite: How Does Rebekah's "Psychological Torture" Lead to Romance?

Rebekah is back on The Vampire Diaries and her first target is Stefan and Elena.

On Thursday's episode (8/7c, the CW) Rebekah (Claire Holt) becomes undaggered and takes Stefan (Paul Wesley), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) hostage at the high school. Things only get more tense from there.

"She's going to manipulate them and play Truth or Dare to get answers," Holt tells TVGuide.com. "It's psychological torture and it's going to be really uncomfortable for Stefan and Elena. It's also going to be very difficult for Caroline because she has to play along with it, which Rebekah loves. They've always had the blonde vampire tension going on, but Rebekah is the boss and they have to shut up and listen."

Rebekah gains even more control when her brother Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) comes in to help. "Kol is her henchman," Holt says. "He brings [Professor] Shane to school for questioning and there is going to be violent results."
