Lifetime announced Thursday that critical darling UnREAL has been renewed for a 10-episode third season. The news comes days before the show's Season 2 premiere on June 6.

No details are currently available about Season 3, but Season 2 will see the return of fan favorites Quinn King (Constance Zimmer) and Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) as they produce an all new season of the show's fictional reality series, Everlasting, with the addition of a huge twist: a black suitor played by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's B.J. Britt.

"UnREAL is that rare series that redefines a network. It not only reflects culture, but pushes culture forward by creating television's first female antihero," Liz Gateley, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for Lifetime, said in a statement. "We are thrilled about the new ground we will break with Season 3 while continuing our work with the incredible A+E Studios as we together build Lifetime's Fempire."

The show is created by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, and based on the short film Sequin Raze, directed by Shapiro.

UnREAL premieres Monday, June 6 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
