Univision is set to finish the July sweeps period at No. 1 in the ratings among the adults-18-to-34 and adults-18-to-49 demographics — a first for a Spanish-language network.
During July, Univision had 11 of the top 25 programs among adults 18 to 34 and 10 among adults 18 to 49, delivering an average of 3.6 million total viewers.

"Finishing the February sweep as the No. 4 network, ahead of NBC, made a major impact," said Univision CEO Randy Falco, according to Deadline. "Wrapping up July — during a time when other networks are investing more than ever in summer programming — as the No. 1 network among both Adults 18-49 and 18-34 for the first time, is making history."
Helping Univision snag the top spot is the network's variety show Sabado Gigante, which averaged 2 million viewers total.
