Tyler Perry will host and narrate a two-hour religious musical event for Fox, the network announced Tuesday.

The Passion will tell the story of the last hours of Jesus Christ's life on Earth, including the Last Supper, Judas' betrayal, his crucifixion and resurrection. The twist: It will be set in modern-day New Orleans. As the story unfolds, the musical will visit many iconic New Orleans locations and will include, per Fox, "a procession of hundreds of people carrying a 20-foot, illuminated cross from Champion Square outside the Superdome to the live stage at Woldenburg Park on the banks of the Mississippi River."

The Passion comes from the Netherlands, where it's been produced annually since 2011. Perry's version will include musical arrangements from Glee's Adam Anders.

The Passion will air Palm Sunday, March 20 at 8/7c on Fox.
