Sookie Stackhouse and the colorful men, women, vampires, and shape-shifters of Bon Temps returned for one last admittedly weird hurrah on Sunday.

The initial telecast of Season 7's premiere brought in 4 million viewers, which was down from last season's debut of 5.6 million. The three subsequent airings, however, brought in enough eyeballs to push that number to 5.8 million. Take that, Season 6!

True Blood's first final season victim speaks out

Of course, True Blood averaged a gross audience of 10.7 million viewers last season, which means Sookie either needs to work some of her fairy magic or Pam needs to find Eric, stat. Something tells me that once that tall Swedish drink of water returns, those Season 7 numbers will go way, way up.
