Tracy Morgan has left the hospital to continue his recovery in a rehab facility, People reports.

"Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks," a rep for Morgan said in a statement.

Morgan, who was involved in a six-vehicle car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, had his condition upgraded to fair three days prior to the transfer. "While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go," the statement continued.

True Blood's craziest moments

The 30 Rock star sustained numerous injuries in the crash, including several broken bones, and remained in critical condition for nine days. One of his friends and fellow comedian, James McNair, was killed in the accident.

According to a preliminary report for the crash, Kevin Roper, the Walmart truck driver who hit Morgan's limo bus, was speeding prior to the accident. Roperpleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter and assault earlier this month.

"We remain mindful of the victims and continue to express our deepest sympathies to the family of James McNair, and our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery of those who suffered injuries in the accident," a statement from Roper's attorney reads. "While this case continues to remain in the spotlight, we have no interest in commenting on rumor or speculation, exchanging a news conference for a jury, or sacrificing Mr. Roper's presumption of innocence for a sound bite."
