Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education

9/8c Comedy Central
Laughter may be the best medicine, but leaving people in stitches can also separate them from their money for a good cause. Jon Stewart hosts this biennial fund-raiser that benefits autism education and family-service programs across the country. The long list of performers at New York City's Beacon Theatre includes Lewis Black, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, Tracy Morgan and Sarah Silverman, and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are the evening's house band. — Joe Friedrich

Project Runway
9/8c Lifetime
The thread of Season 8 episodes begins unspooling to its end in Part 1 of the two-part finale. The Big Apple inspired the clothiers last week, yet young April didn't have a New York state of mind and was ousted, leaving the final fab four — Michael C., Mondo, Andy and Gretchen — to battle it out for Fashion Week honors. Now they're under the Gunn. Tonight, mentor Tim Gunn visits them in their hometowns to review the progress of their collections, but evidently they're not making it work. The usually agreeable Gunn must be cruel to be kind, criticizing their work as "a truly hot mess" and a "teen's pajama." Could it be coming apart at the seams for our finalists? — Dean Maurer
