The Bachelor

After hacking his way through 10 of his 25 would-be brides in last week's season opener, Jason gets down to more serious business  tonight. He also plants the season's first kiss on one lucky bachelorette during an evening at L.A.'s Walt Disney Concert Hall that features a private performance by Robin Thicke. The proceedings also include three eliminations (one self-imposed), and don't be surprised if Jason is a bit waterlogged after two pool parties and a date at Malibu Beach. — Paul Droesch

The sci-fi drama's third-season premiere picks up right where last season left off, with Amanda kidnapped by Latnock immediately following the prom. A frantic Kyle searches for her, determined to bring her home safely. Meanwhile, decisions made at the prom haunt Lori, Declan, Josh and Andy as they now try to deal with the ramifications of these choices. — Jennifer Sankowski

Last fall, series star Chad Michael Murray put on a writer's cap and penned an episode of the series. Tonight he steps into the director's chair. But his behind-the-camera role won't take him off screen, as Lucas and Peyton will be very busy babysitting Jamie and his buddy. They should look at this as a good opportunity to get in some parenting practice now that they're expecting a baby of their own. That news is no longer a secret as word of Peyton's pregnancy spreads among their friends tonight. — Jennifer Sankowski
