"Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being," the statement continued. The divorce comes nine months after the golfer crashed his SUV outside their Florida home, leading to admissions that he had cheated on his wife and a loss of endorsement deals. Woods — whose participation in a tournament typically meant a TV ratings boost — took a five-month hiatus to go to rehab before coming back at the Masters in April. Overall, he has struggled since returning to the game.
