The prayers of Happy Endings fans have been answered — Casey Wilson is back on TV, guest starring on ABC's The Middle in mid-March. She plays Reverend Tammy, a youth advocate who comes to town with guitar-slinging Reverend Tim Tom (Paul Hipp).
"She does seminars for teen girls about 'Your Developing Christian Body,'" says executive producer Eileen Heisler, who adds that the roving reverends will also perform several songs, including "Be Careful on the Internet."
Just don't expect Sue (Eden Sher) to sing Reverend Tammy's praises. Heisler hints that young Miss Heck has a tough time accepting the new woman in her favorite faith-based troubadour's life. "Sue finds herself rather unexpectedly jealous. She likes Reverend Tim Tom to be there just for her." This should make for divine comedy.
