It should be a day for Andrew Jarecki to talk about his buzzy HBO series The Jinx, which just wrapped up its six-episode run Sunday and left people stunned with its shocking ending. Instead, Jarecki finds himself on one of the greatest days of his professional career unable to talk to anyone about it.

Did Robert Durst confess on the Jinx finale?

Robert Durst, the odd and doll-eyed subject of Jarecki's true-crime documentary The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, was arrested on murder charges on Saturday, the day before the finale of The Jinx. After appearing on Good Morning America early on Monday, Jarecki canceled several interviews scheduled to discuss his program.

The following statement from Jarecki and The Jinx producer Marc Smerling was sent to Buzzfeed: "Given that we are likely to be called as witnesses in any case law enforcement may decide to bring against Robert Durst, it is not appropriate for us to comment further on these pending matters. We can confirm that evidence (including the envelope and the washroom recording) was turned over to authorities months ago."

In addition to Buzzfeed, Jarecki was scheduled to hold interviews with MSNBC, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Hitfix, according to tweets.
