Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Secretary of State John Kerry, was released from the hospital Saturday, The Boston Globe reports. Kerry had been at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston for almost three weeks, following a seizure at her home in Nantucket, Mass.
Kerry is expected to make a full recovery and will begin her civic work following "a period of rest." "It was amazing, a miracle," Kerry said in astatement. "They are the kindest people, who love what they do and do it superbly well."
Added her husband: "I've always known Massachusetts is blessed to have some of the greatest health care in the world, but we've just lived it, and are grateful to all."
