Chyler Leigh (left) hails a headlining gig this summer on NBC's new action/comedy series Taxi Brooklyn(premiering June 25). She plays Cat Sullivan, a tough New York detective who teams with a cabdriver (Jacky Ido) to solve cases, including the mystery surrounding her father's death. Cat also gets help from colleague and close friend Monica (Blue Bloods vet Jennifer Esposito, right).
"We find them standing over a few dead bodies throughout this series," says executive producer Gary Scott Thompson. "They're sarcastic toward each other, but they have a past. And something happens that tests their relationship at the end of the season."
