Tate Donovan has joined the cast of Fox's 24: Live Another Day, TVGuide.com has learned.
The O.C. and Damagesalum will play White House Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau, an astute and strong-willed political advisor who is married to President Heller's (William Devane) daughter Audrey (Kim Raver), the former lover of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).

The event series will also feature the return of Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe, as well as new castmembers Benjamin Bratt, Yvonne Strahovski, Giles Matthey, Gbenda Akinnagbe and Judy Davis.
Donovan most recently starred on the CBS drama Hostages, in addition to directing gigs on series like Glee.
24: Live Another Day will launch with a special two-hour premiere on Monday, May 5 at 8/7c on Fox. Live Another Day will make its timeslot debut the following week on Monday, May 12 at 9/8c.
