America's Got Talent - and NBC wants to see more of it next summer. The network has renewed the Jerry Springer-hosted series for a fourth season, according to
The Hollywood Reporter. "The production team has stepped up their game creatively as proven by the strong ratings," Craig Plestis, president of NBC alternative programming, said. "This is the only show where truly unique and talented performers can achieve their ultimate dream." Talent's third season premiered in June and quickly became the most-watched show of the summer. After going on a two-week hiatus to make room for the Beijing Olympics, the series returned to airwaves on Tuesday with its first live episode. - Joyce Eng
