Syfy Renews Face Off for Season 2

Face Off, the reality competition series featuring special effects make-up artists, has been picked up for a second season, Syfy announced Wednesday.

"With strikingly intense personalities and creatively stunning challenges, Face Off has ignited viewers' imaginations, making itSyfy's best unscripted franchise launch ever," said Mark Stern, Syfy president of original content and co-head of original content at Universal Cable Productions. "We look forward to another exciting season showcasing some of the best special effects make-up talent in the country."

During its first season, Face Off averaged 1.43 million viewers. Casting for the series, which airs its Season 1 finale on Wednesday (10/9c), will begin later this month.
