Wonder Years' Danica McKellar Teams Up with Apolo Ohno for Syfy Original Movie

Syfy is known for their weird pairings — Tiffany and Debbie Gibson in Mega Python vs. Gatoroid for instance — so it comes as no surprise that the network is teaming up a Wonder Years star and an Olympic gold medalist for a new original movie.

Danica McKellar, who portrayed Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, and Apolo Ohno, also known for his turn on Dancing with the Stars, will star in Tasmanian Devil. The movie, also starring Jericho's Kenneth Mitchell, features base jumpers in a remote Tasmanian national park, who are pursued by grizzly bear-sized -- you guessed it -- Tasmanian Devils.
The film is slated to begin production in British Columbia this month, and will premiere in 2012.
