Exclusive Sneak Peek: SVU's Captain Cragen Is Ready to Go Undercover

Sure, he's been the head of the special victims unit for the last 12 years (and was top boss on the original Law & Order for three years before that). But on this week's episode of Law & Order: SVU, fans will see Captain Cragen (Dann Florek) as they've never seen him before when he goes undercover. In this exclusive clip from Wednesday's episode (airing at 10/9c on NBC), Cragen realizes he fits the description for a mail-order Russian Bride customer (a lonely, mature man with money) and volunteers himself for the job to ADA Cabot (Stephanie March). Although he openly admits he probably hasn't been undercover since before

Exclusive: SVU drafts Treat Williams for guest spot

"Remember, Captain, no matter how tempting it might be, you cannot get intimate with a suspect," Cabot warns him. "It will undermine your credibility at trial."

"I'll try to control myself," he says.
