Life of Pi's Suraj Sharma Joins Homeland

Suraj Sharma has joined the cast of Homeland for the Showtime drama's upcoming fourth season, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Sharma, who starred in Life of Pi and can currently be seen in Million Dollar Arm, will have a "heavily recurring" role as a Pakistani medical student who crosses paths with Carrie Matheson (Claire Danes), according to EW. There's no word on whether he'll be a good guy or a bad guy on the show.

Sharma joins previously-announced new cast additions Corey Stoll and Laila Robins. Season 4 will take place in Islamabad and Kabul and is scheduled to air this fall on Showtime.
