Did Beyonce literally bring the house down?

Minutes into the third quarter of the Super Bowl, power went out for half the Superdome in New Orleans Sunday night, putting a stop to play and leaving the players and coaches wondering how long of a delay there would be.

After the first play of the second half, the lights in the stadium all went dark due to a power surge, according to commentators on CBS.

Play resumed at 9:10 p.m. ET, after about a 35-minute delay. The Baltimore Ravens were beating the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 when play was stopped.

The 49ers staged a valiant comeback in the second half, but still ended up losing the game 34-31, after being unable to convert a touchdown attempt at the goal line in the final minutes.

CBS News correspondent Armen Keteyian, who was filming a piece for 60 Minutes Sports, was inside the Superdome control room when the lights went out. Check out the video below:
