SundanceTV will stay on The Red Road. The cable network announced on Monday that it has ordered a second season of the drama about clashing communities in a small town situated near a Native American tribe. Season 2 will consist of six episodes and debut sometime in 2015.

"The Red Road tells the tale of a shocking conflict which plays out in a very specific place——the land that the Native Americans live on literally oozes danger," said SundanceTV president Sarah Barnett. "It's a show about what happens when you try to bury the truth, and the devastating impact of that. We're proud of this tremendously talented cast and can't wait to see where creator Aaron Guzikowski takes this story in Season 2."

15 bubble shows: which will survive?

The renewal is good news, following middling reviews of Season 1. The Red Road is SundanceTV's second original scripted drama after Rectify and stars Martin Henderson (Off the Map) and Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones). Miss the show the first time around? Watch it right here.
