Another one of Washington Irving's short stories might soon find a home on TV.
Less than a year after Fox successfully brought Irving's Sleepy Hollow to the small screen, SundanceTV is developing a new drama in the vein of Irving's famous short story Rip Van Winkle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Crack in the Sky follows a man described as a "Don Draper-type" who falls asleep in 1962 and wakes up in 2012. Sleepy Hollow, which was adapted from Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, features a similar storyline in which Ichabod Crane wakes up in 2013 after dying 200 years earlier.
