The Roy family feud isn't coming to an end any time soon. HBO announced Tuesday that Succession has officially been renewed for Season 3.

The news, which comes after just two episodes of Season 2 have aired, shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who's checked their Twitter feed on Sunday night for the past couple of weeks, as the social platform was flooded with viewers returning to this juicy family drama for Season 2. In fact, Succession has managed to pull off a feat not many TV shows can claim, delivering higher viewership numbers in its second season than its first. The Season 2 premiere delivered a series high across HBO's platforms on its debut night.

Succession follows the horrendously wealthy Roy Family, which consists of media tycoon Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his four children. Season 1 focused on the tension and uncertainty among Logan's children as they debated who would take their father's place in the company after he had a major health scare.

The first season has been nominated for five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.

Succession airs Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.
