Steven Tyler Claims He's Spent at Least $5 Million on Cocaine

Steven Tyler apparently did a lot of cocaine in his day. The former American Idoljudge claims on Australia's 60 Minutes that he spent at least $5 million on cocaine over the years, TMZ.com reports.

"Probably, realistically, $5 or $6 [million] easy," he says. "You could also say I snorted half of Peru, but, you know, it's what we did."

His cocaine abuse is no secret. Tyler, who sobered up in the '80s, was forthcoming about his addiction in a 2011 interview with Matt Lauer, telling the Todayanchor that he "needed that cocaine."
