Clive Owen has been tapped to star in Cinemax's new original series The Knick, which will be directed by Steven Soderbergh, the network announced Thursday.
Set in downtown New York in 1900, The Knick takes a look inside Knickerbocker Hospital and the staff who push the bounds of medicine in a time with high mortality rates and no antibiotics.
