Steven R. McQueen Returning to The Vampire Diaries

Jeremy lives! Maybe. Probably not.

Steven R. McQueen is set to return to The Vampire Diariesthis season, TVGuide.com has learned. TVLine.com first reported the news.

McQueen's character Jeremy died in a February episode after Katherine (Nina Dobrev) essentially handed him over as a feedbag to the evil Silas, who bled him dry and then snapped his neck.

TV Scorecard: Renewed or canceled?

The real question is whether McQueen will return as Jeremy in a flashback or if Silas will take on his form as he's done with other characters, like Caroline (Candace Accola).
