May the Ferb be with you. In the July 26 special Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars, the Disney Channel characters exist in a parallel universe — that of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Phineas, Ferb and their friends head to a galaxy far, far away and meet up with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2, and starship pilot Isabella even drinks juice with Han Solo and Chewbacca.
"Back in 1977, I was the first kid in line for the first showing of Star Wars in Mobile, Alabama, and I saw it 19 times that summer," says Dan Povenmire, the show's cocreator (with Jeff "Swampy" Marsh). "To be able to play in that world, to have my own characters interacting with the heroes of my youth, is truly a 13-year-old boy's dream come true."
