Get ready for more celebrity smackdowns, because Spike TV has ordered a 20-episode second season of Lip Sync Battle, the network announced Wednesday. The new episodes will debut in 2016.
"Lip Sync Battle is a television and viral rock star for Spike," Kevin Kay, president of Spike, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to be renewing Lip Sync Battle whose success in a direct result of the brilliance and creativity of our producers, the brave performers, and of course the coolest new duo on television, LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen."
In its first four episodes, Lip Sync Battle has featured performances by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, John Legend, Common and more. The series has become the most-watched original series in the network's history, averaging 3 million viewers per episode.
