Spelling Birth Spells Big Numbers for Oxygen

Take a deep breath: Oxygen had its highest ratings ever with Tuesday night's airing of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, according to Reuters. What inspired the 1.4 million viewers to tune in? It could have something to do with the birth of Tori Spelling's second child, Stella, which was shown during the episode. (Well, presumably not all of the birth was shown, as that would make it a different kind of program altogether.)Proud grandmamma Candy Spelling, meanwhile, has a book in the works, though she won't be dishing about her famous daughter and their famous feud, says the New York Post's Cindy Adams. One can only imagine what she will be writing about. — Nina Hämmerling Smith
