Sopranos star will be playing the mayor of New York. His character faces a big crisis when a thug (played by
John Travolta) and his posse hold a subway car full of people for ransom.
Denzel Washington also stars.
Since the close of
The Sopranos, Gandolfini's been a busy man, with a number of upcoming films from his production group, Attaboy Films, as well as a starring role in an HBO production to play basketball legend Sonny Vaccaro.
