Walton Goggins Returning to Sons of Anarchy for Final Season

One of Sons of Anarchy's most beloved recurring characters is returning to help say goodbye.

Justified star Walton Goggins, who has played transgender escort Venus Van Dam the last two seasons, will return for the FX drama's seventh and final season, creator Kurt Sutter tweeted Wednesday.

Goggins shocked viewers when he made his first surprise appearance as Venus in Season 5. But while Venus first showed up as part of a comedic blackmail scheme, Sons dived into her heartbreaking backstory when Venus returned in Season 6.

The actor, also known for his work on The Shield, most recently guest-starred on Community.
