Sofía Vergara's thick accent and mispronunciation of words is sure to make for an interesting episode of Saturday Night Live when the Modern Family star hosts on April 7.
Still, Vergara is not worried about her live SNL debut. "I'm excited," she told TVGuide.com at Wednesday's PaleyFest event celebrating the Emmy-winning series.

Though the 39-year-old Colombian actress has no idea yet what she'll be doing on the show, she says she's ready and willing to take on any sketch SNL puts in front of her. "I'm going to do what I always do in acting," she says. "Because I'm so new, I try to follow advice of the people who really know. So whatever ... they believe I can do ... I'll definitely do it."
