Live from New York! It's Prince and Chris Rock!

NBC announced Tuesday that the Holy Purple One, and the comic famous for his impersonation of the music legend, will appear on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 1 as the musical guest and host, respectively.

Prince will be promoting his double-dose of new albums, Art Official Age and Plectrumelectrum, both of which were released on Sept. 30. He'll be backed by his all-girl band 3RDEYEGIRL. This marks Prince's third time on Saturday Night Live. He most recently played himself on New Girl last winter.

Rock's return to Studio 8H coincides with the upcoming December release of  his new film Top Five, which Rock directed, wrote and stars in. This will mark his second time hosting, and his first time back in 18 years. Rock joined SNL in 1990, but left the show in 1993 before breaking out as a stand-up comedian and film star. Let's hope we get an updated version of "I'm Chillin.'"
