SKY'S THE LIMIT

Retro sci-fi pic Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow topped the weekend box office with $16.2 million, pushing last week's No. 1 flick, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, to No. 3. The Bernie Mac baseball comedy Mr. 3000 opened at No.2 with $9.2 million, while the Kirsten Dunst-Paul Bettany tennis romance, Wimbledon, debuted at No. 4 with $7.8 million.
