Before you could even properly mourn the loss of Designated Survivor and Quantico, ABC announced that Leighton Meester and Taran Killam will lead the cast of its newest comedy pickup, the series Single Parents. Much like the title suggests, the series, which was created by JJ Philbin and Liz Meriwether (New Girl), follows a group of single parents who turn to one another for support as they raise their kids.

The series officially kicks off when the 30-something Will (Killam) realizes he's been so focused on his dang kid that he no longer knows who he is as a man! Poor guy. That's rough. When the other single parents see just how bad ol' Will is doing outside the ream of parenting, they naturally band together to force him out into the even more terrifying world of dating. This will definitely end well!

Joining Killam and Meester, who plays single mom Angie, the series also stars Brad Garrett, Kimrie Lewis, Jake Choi, Marlow Barkley, Tyler Wladis, Devin Trey Campbell, Grace Hazelett and Sadie Hazelett.

Single Parents joins fellow new series A Million Little Things, Take Two, The Rookie and a Goldbergs spin-off on ABC's 2018-2019 schedule.
