Nicole Richie. The Aug. 5 episode will be the last for the reality series that featured the rich gals taking jobs and mixing with common folks. Ratings for
The Simple Life, which started on Fox back in 2003 and now airs on E!, declined while Hilton's DUI case and subsequent imprisonment became an ongoing cable-news saga. A source at E! said there are no plans to launch a new program with Hilton, citing her recent overexposure. "She needs to take a TV nap," the source said. -
