Brittany Murphy's autopsy showed no signs of foul play nor did it immediately reveal a cause of death, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office intends to wait for a toxicology report as well as a study of her organs and brain before making any determinations. The coroner also hopes to ascertain what, if any, prescription drugs were in Murphy's system.

Meanwhile, husband Simon Monjack told Access HollywoodMonday: "My world was destroyed yesterday."

As news of the actress' death at age 32 spread on Sunday, stars offered an outpouring of affection and condolences. One message, especially, touched Monjack.

"I loved what Ashton [Kutcher] wrote on Twitter. It was comforting to me," Monjack told Access Hollywood. "I couldn't have said it better."

Kutcher, Murphy's one-time boyfriend and Just Married co-star, tweeted: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon ... see you on the other side kid."

As for what happened inside the actress' home early Sunday, Murphy was found unresponsive in the shower. Until then, Monjack said, it had just been "a regular day."

"Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran — then called 911," he said.

In his interview with Access Hollywood, Monjack, a screenwriter who married Murphy in 2007, rebutted suggestions his wife may have been linked to people who were bad influences.

"I don't know why anyone would think that," he said. "She found love. We found love. Brittany didn't get to where Brittany was with anyone controlling her ... Brittany was Brittany."
