Noted for her canon of work including Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder and the upcoming series The Catch, Shonda Rhimes is also known for her year of saying yes to everything that scared her, as chronicled in her book Year of Yes.
If you can believe it, the phenom called herself burnt out at one point not long ago, and began a journey that included losing more than 100 pounds and spending more time with family. Another thing that experiment did was move her towards doing her first TED talk, in which she details what she learned - and reveals she's as in the zone as another entertainment force.
"A dream job is not about dreaming," she says. "It's all job, all work, all reality, all blood, all sweat, no tears. I work a lot. For me my work is at all times...manning the troops, it is painting a canvas, it is hitting every high note, it is running a marathon, it is being Beyoncé."
This probably shouldn't be a surprise Shonda is in the Queen B formation - both ladies run their respective world, right?
