Exclusive: Mickey Is Returning to Shameless

Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher) is coming back to Shameless!

We teased earlier this week that a "major Gallagher ex" was returning to the show, and now TVGuide.com can officially confirm that Fisher will return as Mickey in Season 7. Though Showtime declined to comment further, additional sources tell us that Mickey's return -- and how he's getting around that whole prison thing -- will be brought up in episode 9. He'll reunite with Ian in subsequent episodes.

The last time fans saw Mickey, he was in jail for Sammy's (Emily Bergl) attempted murder and Ian (Cameron Monaghan) was officially breaking up with him on the other side of a plate glass window. The Mickey and Ian relationship, nicknamed "Gallavich" by the internet, is one of the most popular couples to ever happen on the show. Their breakup caused a massive wave of upset with fans, so we know that this reunion is going to be highly anticipated. Some fans have even been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Fisher on set.
