Shakira's hips don't lie: The Colombian singer has given birth!
Shakira and her beau, Spanish National soccer player Gerard Piqué, welcomed their first child Tuesday, her rep confirmed. Their newborn son Milan was born at 9:36 p.m. in Barcelona, weighing in at 6 pounds and 6 ounces. Both mother and son are in excellent health.

The name Milan means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification. Already following in his father's footsteps, Milan became a member of Futbol Club Barcelona at birth. News of Milan's birth was first reported by People en Espanol,
Earlier in the day, Shakira reached out to her fans for their well wishes. "I'd like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life," she tweeted.
Shakira, 35, announced she was expecting in September after going public with Piqué in March 2011. She will next be seen stateside in March as a new coach on The Voice.
