Former NBA Star Scottie Pippen Arrested for Felony Assault

Former Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen turned himself into police Monday and was booked for felony assault after he allegedly attacked an autograph-seeker over the weekend, TMZ reports. According to TMZ, Pippen, 47, got into an altercation with a man in his 50s who approached him to ask for an autograph outside Nobu restaurant in Malibu Sunday evening.

Former Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen turned himself into police Monday and was booked for felony assault after he allegedly attacked an autograph-seeker over the weekend, TMZ reports.

According to TMZ, Pippen, 47, got into an altercation with a man in his 50s who approached him to ask for an autograph outside Nobu restaurant in Malibu Sunday evening.

Pippen allegedly punched the man in the face and kicked him repeatedly before leaving the scene. The man was taken to a local hospital with broken teeth, a swollen mouth, and other injuries to his head and back, TMZ reports.

The seven-time All Star, who retired from the NBA in 2004, voluntarily went to authorities in Malibu Monday afternoon and was charged with felony assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.
