Scandal's youngest Gladiator has finally turned into a killer. She just didn't know what she was doing!

As Quinn (Katie Lowes) drew closer to her new mentor Charlie (George Newbern) on Thursday's episode, even she couldn't see that she was being played. Enlisted by Rowan (Joe Morton) to lure Quinn in, Charlie duped her into drugging a seemingly harmless security guard. In actuality, she was murdering the one witness who could place Olivia's (Kerry Washington) mother Maya (Khandi Alexander) on the tarmac after being taken off the plane before Operation Remington.

Scandal's Katie Lowes: Has Quinn ditched Huck for Charlie?

Two birds. One stone. Not only has B613 blackmailed Quinn since they have the murder on tape, but they've effectively cut down Olivia's investigation. Since Charlie welcomed Quinn to Wonderland following the murder, does this mean Quinn is officially a member of B613? "Oh my gosh, I wish it was that easy with a yes or no question," Lowes tells TVGuide.com. "It's not good. Who is she working for? Who are her loyalties to? How is she going to get out of this? How could she possibly have murder on her reputation being held over her head by Rowan and at the same time do her job at OPA where she will forever and ever be loyal to Liv and Huck [Guillermo Diaz]?"

But possibly being the newest inductee into B613 isn't her only problem. The security guard is actually Quinn's first kill — a far cry from torturing Billy Chambers (Matt Letscher) last season — which will weigh on her. "She obviously loves to dabble in these sort of things, but she killed someone," Lowes says. "She killed someone. That is something I honestly don't think Quinn Perkins really, truly in her heart of hearts thought she would go there. She was very comfortable of the idea of taking it close to there, but not going all the way."

Lowes has every faith, though, that Quinn will be able to continue on as a Gladiator despite becoming a killer. "Three weeks ago, Huck sliced that guy's wrist open that Rowan left in the trailer, and Huck's [still] a Gladiator," Lowes says, recalling how Huck gave Quinn a choice between killing Hollis Doyle (Gregg Henry) or sticking with OPA last season. "I think that vengeance is the key word there that you can't kill out of that, but Quinn just killed out of a huge mistake, so I'd like to think she could still be."

Mega Buzz: Why is Harrison scared of Adnan Salif on Scandal?

Here's hoping her pseudo flame can help her through this tough time, though whether Charlie really has feelings for her or was just using her remains to be seen. Still, Lowes was just excited to play such a jaw-dropping moment when audiences first saw them kiss. "Yeah, that's what my jaw was doing when I read the script and I looked over at George Newbern and was like, 'You're Bryan MacKenzie from Father of the Bride! I've seen that movie 8 million times!'" Lowes says with a laugh. "He's such a good sport and he's the most lovely scene partner. Of course, when we read it, he was like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm so screwed. Quinn kills all of her boyfriends.' And I looked at him like, 'Are you kidding? I'm so screwed! You're B613. You kill everybody!' We were both having huge panic attacks."
