Sarah Palin is rolling up her sleeves for her latest TV show.

The former Vice Presidential candidate and Governor of Alaska will host a new show for the Sportsman Channel premiering in April, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Amazing America With Sarah Palin is described as an "anthology of stories that explore some of the most original, interesting — and sometimes inspiring — people, places and pastimes connected to America's outdoors lifestyle," according to a statement.

25 totally unnecessary spin-offs

Added Palin, whom the Sportsman Channel dubbed the First Lady of Outdoors: "I'm excited to help shine a light on all the great American sportsmen and women in the country who live the outdoors lifestyle. Sportsman Channel is the leader in their industry, and I am thrilled to be partnering with them on this show."

After she and running mate John McCain lost the 2008 presidential election, Palin stepped down from her post as Governor of Alaska the following year. In 2010, she and her family starred in the Discovery Channel reality show Sarah Palin's Alaska, which was canceled after one season. In recent years, she has served as a contributor for Fox News Channel.
