While promoting his new film Robocop, Samuel L. Jackson did not take too kindly to a reporter confusing him with Laurence Fishburne on Monday morning and took KTLA's Sam Rubin to task for the mistake.
When Rubin said he enjoyed Jackson's Super Bowl commercial, Jackson responded that wasn't him. "I'm not Laurence Fishburne," he said, referring to Fishburne's ad that spoofed The Matrix. "We don't all look alike! We may be black and famous, but we don't all look alike!"
Rubin quickly apologized and tried to get back on point, but Jackson refused to back down and continued to berate the entertainment reporter. Rubin later apologized on air, claiming an intention to bring up the Captain America: Winter Soldier trailer that aired during the Super Bowl, but forgetting his purpose once Jackson called him out.
