AND THEY SAID IT WOULDN'T LAST...

The Wedding Planner was the nation's top box-office draw for the second consecutive weekend, grossing $11.0 million for a 10-day total of $28.2 million. The romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey edged out the David Boreanaz slasher pic Valentine, which opened at No. 2 with $10.1 million. Rounding out the top five were Cast Away (No. 3 with $7.41 million), Save the Last Dance (No. 4 with $7.4 million) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (No. 5 with $7.35 million). Head Over Heels — the silly Freddie Prinze Jr. crime caper — debuted at No. 7 with $5 million.
