The Help, Modern Family and Boardwalk Empire Win SAG Awards

The Helptopped Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards with three wins, while defending champs dominated on the TV side.

The casts of Boardwalk Empire and Modern Family repeated their wins for TV drama and comedy ensemble, respectively, while Betty White, (Hot in Cleveland), Alec Baldwin, (30 Rock) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) also repeated their acting wins. Baldwin won his sixth consecutive statuette and is undefeated in the TV comedy race. White joins Julia Louis-Dreyfus as two-time winners for TV comedy actress and Buscemi is the first to repeat as TV drama actor since Martin Sheen 11 years ago.

The only defending champ who didn't repeat was Julianna Margulies -- SAG's winningest performer with eight trophies -- who lost to Jessica Lange (American Horror Story). Lange, who was nominated at the first SAG Awards 17 years ago, won her first trophy for TV drama actress.In film, The Help took home three trophies: ensemble, actress (Viola Davis) and supporting actress (Octavia Spencer). It's the third film to win three awards, tying American Beauty and Chicago.

The Artist'sJean Dujardin staged a minor upset, triumphing in the actor race over George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Beginners'Christopher Plummer won the first award of the night for supporting actor.

Mary Tyler Moore received the Life Achievement Award from Dick Van Dyke.
